Australian demonstrators said the wall would have a negative impact on the lives of the Palestinian people.

                  10.11.2003

Several hundred protesters staged a demonstration in Sydney, Australia. Activists concerned with the Israel/Palestine issue protested against the Israeli-built wall, which they called the Apartheid Wall. Protesters chanted about human rights violations, among other things. Police officers said that they were surprised that the demonstration remained peaceful.
Greens Senator Kerry Nettle, one of the speakers at the protest, said that the wall would have a negative impact on the lives of the Palestinian people. Israeli policy was compared to Apartheid policy in South Africa.
However, nobody bothered to mention the uninvited guests who come to Israeli cities with the purpose of murdering Israeli people in suicide bomb attacks.
