10.11.2003 Modern Hebrew is the first Hebrew language textbook issued for Armenian students, in the Armenian language, since the history of independent Armenia. Issued in Yerevan, the book contains more than 500 pages, seven introductory sections and 80 study sections where grammar is introduced and practice exercises are located. The book is comprised of texts and exercises on different levels, grammar tables, Hebrew-Armenian and Armenian-Hebrew dictionaries, a brief description of the history of the Hebrew language, and its interrelation with the Armenian language. Only 350 copies of the book have been published so far.
Arman Akopyan, author of the book, is a lecturer and member of the Hebraic faculty at Yerevan State University. He is an official of Armenia
