Berl Lazar hopes, the new Duma will not return Russia to former times.
05.12.2003 After voting, Berl Lazar, chief rabbi of Ruissia (FJCR), said that it is very important that each Jewish citizen of the Russian Federation participate in the elections. "Each vote counts, and Jewish votes cannot be ignored in Russia today," he said.
Lazar added that Jewish Diaspora actively participate in all elections, and that has influenced the whole society, Interfax-Russia reported.
