FM Silvan Shalom met with the heads of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations
27.06.2005 Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Silvan Shalom met today (June 27) with the heads of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Executive Vice Chairman Malcolm Hoenlein, outgoing Chairman James Tisch and new Chairman Harold Tanner.
Foreign Minister Shalom updated them on recent developments in the region and the steps being taken towards the implementation of the Disengagement Plan. At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Shalom said:
