                  The World Jewish Congress (WJC) has announced that it will hold a roundtable meeting in Washington on 3 July under the topic "Legislative Responses to Anti-Semitism" with parliamentarians from across Europe and North America. The event takes place on the occasion of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Co-sponsors of the event are the Institute on Religion and Public Policy, the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding and the NCSJ: Advocates on behalf of Jews in Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic States & Eurasia. Leading members of national parliaments from the OSCE region will give presentations, including the German MP Gert Weisskirchen (who is the OSCE's special representative on fighting anti-Semitism) and US Congressmen Alcee Hastings and Chris Smith.
