Slovakia establishes Holocaust memorial
09.09.2005 Slovakia established its first permanent exhibition devoted solely to the Holocaust.
It took researchers a decade to put together the memorial in Nitra to the Holocaust and victims of racial violence, commemorating roughly 70,000 Slovak Jews who perished during World War II.
The exhibit includes several hundred documents, photographs and video recordings, as well as personal items of Holocaust survivors.
