                  European Jewish Congress Satisfied by New York Attorney General

                  The European Jewish Congress (EJC) is satisfied by the conclusion of the investigation carried out by the New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, concerning the World Jewish Congress (WJC).
                  The EJC expresses its full support to the WJC President Edgar M. Bronfman, the President of the WJC Policy Council Israel Singer and the WJC Secretary-General Stephen Herbits, and would also like to thank the WJC for its tireless advocacy on the behalf of world Jewish communities, and for Israel.
                  It is now time to look ahead and continue our political agenda, newly strengthened by the structural reforms initiated by Secretary-General Herbits. These reforms will increase the working efficiency of the WJC, which will soon be celebrating its 70th anniversary.
                  The President of the EJC Pierre Besnainou saluted the conclusion of the investigation, stating
