Delegation of Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

MP Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, also the UN Good Will Ambassador met with the members of the delegation of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, who are on visit to Azerbaijan, at the Foundation on Monday, the Foundation told Trend.
At the meeting Aliyeva informed the guests about the activities of the Foundation and spoke about the active position of the Foundation as a public organization in the Azerbaijani society. During the conversation Aliyeva mentioned tolerance in regard to other nations and religions, peaceful co-existence of the Azerbaijani people with good-natured neighbors during centuries, existence of tolerant society in Azerbaijan, which locates at crossing of the East and West.
The members of the delegation touched upon the development observed in Azerbaijan, showed interest in priorities of the country, particularly, social and humanitarian spheres, as well as education, underlined importance of the government
