                  Holocaust Monument Vandalized in Sevastopol

                  A Holocaust memorial in Sevastopol, Ukraine has been vandalized, according to a March 24, 2006 report in the Ukraine edition of the national Russian daily Kommersant. Words like "skinhead"; "Adolf Lives"; and "Glory to Russia" were painted on the monument the previous night. The monument was put up in 2003 using the funds of the local Jewish community and has been vandalized several times before. Jewish leaders have officially requested that police investigate the incident.
