Hungarian Foreign Minister visits Israel.
17.01.2007 Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Kinga Göncz is to arrive today (31 Jan) for a two day visit to Israel.
Foreign Minister Göncz is due to meet with Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni, Vice Premier Shimon Peres and Speaker of the Knesset MK Dalia Itzik. She will also visit and lay wreaths at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Museum and the site of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin's assassination in Tel Aviv.
Israel and Hungary share an excellent relationship, and reciprocal high level visits take place regularly. Israel is considered one of Hungary's leading financial partners. Total Israeli investments in Hungary exceed $4.5 billion, and mutual trade exceeds $500 million.
