European countries have run into 150 billion dollars debt to Holocaust victims.
19.01.2007 Last years the European countries have considerably slowed down indemnifications payments to Jews who survived the Holocaust. There are various estimates of the total debt to be paid within a range from 115 to 175 billion dollars. This would be payments for property and valuables plundered by Nazis during the Second world war.
