MAUP honors Polish official.
12.02.2007 Poland's deputy prime minister accepted his second award from an anti-Semitic Ukrainian university.
Andrzej Lepper accepted an honorary professorship from MAUP, a private Ukrainian university that has published anti-Jewish tracts.
He also received an honorary doctorate from MAUP in 2004, after which he told that he had only learned of the school's reputation in Jewish circles following his award.
David Duke, a former Ku Klux Klan leader, is another MAUP honoree.
The Anti-Defamation League issued a statement condemning Lepper.
"It is outrageous that the deputy prime minister of Poland, a member state of the European Union, has accepted yet another award from an institution which promotes anti-Semitism".
