Sokhnut held a workshop in Georgia for parents and children who enrolled to "Naale" program.
16.02.2007 In the beginning of February a member of the Ñouncil of the Jewish community of Armenia, coordinator of the program "Children's SOS" Adelina Livshits returned from Georgia where Sokhnut held a seminar for parents and children enrolled to the program "Naale".
A range of various questions regarding "Naale" program, from educational up to household were discussed. Parents of children who already study in Israel under this program, also visited Israel to see the conditions and attitudes to their children and attended the workshop. The state Israel uses the best efforts for repatriation and repatriates, and "Naale" program is a first step for those Jewish children who have decided to cast in the lot with Israel. Films about Israel were shown during the workshop, one of which about connection of Georgian Jews with Israel. Testing for participation in the "Naale" program will take place in March.
