                  Teaching tolerance in schools.

                  School teachers representing Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan held a round table in Almaty (Kazakhstan) to discuss issues related to teaching tolerance in schools during the courses on history. The discussion carried out during the three-day seminar "Tolerance the lessons of Holocaust", held in Almaty for the 4th time, has brought together more than 120 school teachers. The Association of Kazakhstan nations and Kazakhstan Jewish community took active part in organization of the event.
                  All the participants have appreciated the experience of Kazakhstan, proved able to create a unique environment for peaceful living for over 130 nations.
                  A number of lectures covering historical manifestations and results of interethnic enmity as well as discussions covering current issues were held during the seminar. Participants have agreed that the school is a basic element in creating environment free of interethnic enmity.
