Germany's Culture Minister Bernd Neumann was elected head of the Berlin Holocaust Memorial Foundation.
30.03.2007 Germany's Culture Minister Bernd Neumann was elected head of the Berlin Holocaust Memorial Foundation. He will succeed Norbert Lamert, who earlier combined the functions of head of the Foundation and Head of the board of Trustees. Bernd Neumann has become the first representative of acting federal government elected to this post.
The memorial has been attended by over 2 million people since unveiling two years ago.
