15th anniversary of Jewish Library of Kishenev (Moldova).

The Jewish library and cultural center n.a I.Manger, being a branch of municipal library named after Hashdeu - celebrates 15th anniversary this year.
This versatile center has gathered under its roof gathering a library of 37 thousand literary and scientific editions and museum of rare book, where works of poets and writers of 18th and 19th centuries are held. The latest information can be found in the newly created computer class. Except for the library itself, this cultural center provides a set of learning and cultural classes for its young and senior attendees.
The library and cultural center have been created owing to support from mayoralty of Kishinev, which has not only initiated, but also provided much support to this educational establishment.
Charitable and cultural events are held on a regular basis. They are supported by the French Alliance, female club at the US Embassy, public Jewish organizations, and huge number of people which are not indifferent to children and national cultures.
