Spell Your Name, a film by director Sergey Bukowsky on the Holocaust in Ukraine, screened in the Free thought - documentary sect

                  26.06.2007

Spell Your Name, a film by director Sergey Bukowsky on the Holocaust in Ukraine, screened on the 29th Moscow International Film Festival. Mr. Spielberg, who established the Shoah Foundation in 1994, is co-executive producer of Spell Your Name, with Mr. Pinchuk. Mr. Pinchuk first discussed his idea for a film on the Holocaust in Ukraine with Mr. Spielberg in 2004.
The film was screened in the Free thought - documentary section of the Film Festival upon request of the festival organizers to Sergey Bukowsky. Over 200 people attended Hall 9 of Multiplex Cinema "October", which is quite rare for documentary films. Although the format of screening didn't envisage the discussion between the spectators and the director, as it was during the premiere in October 2006 in Kiev, it has developed spontaneously.
