                  German Police Chases Murderer.

                  17.12.2008

German police say they have searched the residence of an 89-year-old man suspected of taking part in the 1945 massacre of more than 60 Jews. These executions were conducted in Austria by the Nazi's paramilitary SS.
State police in North Rhine-Westphalia said they are now analyzing the documents seized from the residence of the arrestee, whose name has not yet been disclosed. In the police bulletins he is referred to as Adolf S.
The search was part of an investigation into the suspect's involvement in the massacre of Jews in the village of Deutsch Schuetzen, located southeast of Vienna.
Adolf S. is suspected of being one of three SS men who massacred around 60 Jews, slave laborers from Hungaria. They were killed a month before the end of World War II.
Police say that the man invoked his right to remain silent and has not testified so far. The raid was conducted in the city of Duisburg.
