Medvedev to Olmert: Russia concerned about humanitarian situation in Gaza

During a phone conversation with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday night, Russian President Dimitry Medvedev said he was concerned for Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
"Russia is worried about the amount of sacrifices and about the humanitarian situation," he said in reference to IDF Operation Cast Lead, which began last Saturday.
