Russian man gets prison for anti-Semitic link

MOSCOW (JTA) -- A Russian man was convicted after posting an anti-Semitic link to a Web site.
A court in far northern Russia sentenced a college student to 90 days community service for linking an anti-Semitic video to a Russian Web site.
The student, Andrey Paydimirov, was convicted of inciting ethnic hatred, according to a report by the state-funded RIA-Novosti news service. He posted the video to a local web site in the Russian town of Syktyvkar.
The video is included in a list of banned extremist material, and prosecutors brought the charges in October after determining the source and the nature of the video, RIA-Novosti reported.
