Central elections committee: Feiglin can run for Knesset

The Central Elections Committee decided on Tuesday to turn down several petitions that sought to bar Likud activist Moshe Feiglin from running for Knesset.
The petitions were filed by Labor faction chairman Eitan Cabel, Meretz MK Avshalom Vilan, as well as other Labor and Meretz activists.
With the decision, Feiglin cleared the final hurdle allowing him to run for Knesset following many challenges inside the Likud.
Party chairman Binyamin Netanyahu succeeded in pushing Feiglin from the 20th to the 36th slot on the Likud list in internal court decisions that were later endorsed by the High Court of Justice.
