                  Terrorists' Trial<>
The trial of three terrorists behind the attack on a synagogue in the Tunisian city of Djerba began in Paris.
The two suspects – a German, Christian Ganczarski, who turned Mohammedan, and a French citizen of Arab origin, Walid Naouar, took part in the planning and execution of the attack which took away 21 lives.
The third accused, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, leader of the terrorist cell, also suspected in organization of the 9/11 terror attacks, is currently being held at Guantanamo, that is why he was not present at the trial.
In April 2002 the suicide bomber Nizar Naouar rammed a truck filled with explosives into the ancient Tunisian synagogue. 14 German, two French tourists and a number of local Tunisians died.
The court is expected to pass its sentence in February, and if the terrorists' fault is proven, they will face life sentences in prison.
