Jews in Omsk Pray for Peace in Israel

Due to the IDF military operation against the militants of Hamas, which is treated in the entire world as a terrorist organization, and the difficult situation in the South of Israel, prayers for the speedy conclusion1 of the operation and for the lives of civilians and IDF soldiers take place in the Omsk synagogue daily.
The military operation is aimed to provide security for the State of Israel and its citizens. The decision to fight was preceded by eight years of daily shelling of Southern Israeli cities and settlements by Hamas.
The Chief Rabbi of Omsk region Osher Krichevsky points out that everybody should strive for peace and solidarity. He calls on all Jews and residents of Omsk region to pray for the speedy termination of the military operation and a successful solution of the conflict.
