International Holocaust Victims Remembrance Day Commemorated in Dnepropetrovsk Jewish School

Events dedicated to the International Holocaust Victims Remembrance Day were held in the Jewish school.
A museum exhibition "Rescue in the Name of Justice," prepared by the Tkuma centre, was opened on the second floor of the school building.
During the breaks, every class had the possibility to see the exhibitions and hear an interesting and rich in facts story on the Holocaust, prepared by the famous human rights advocate and teacher Alla Gelberg. Afterwards candles of memory were solemnly lit in front of the mourning stand with the blood red inscription "Remember." Every class commemorated the victims with a minute of silence.
The Jewish school also takes active part in the mourning ceremony which will be held near the monument to Dnepropetrovsk Jews, shot by the Nazis in autumn 1941.
