A Present for the Palestinian Autonomy - 50 Armoured Cars from Russia

The Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a conference in Sharm al-Sheikh, dedicated to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, that Russia would supply 50 armored cars to the authorities of the Palestinian Autonomy.
This was reported by Reshet Beit radio station. Apparently, the Russian authorities believe that the biggest problem facing the the PA now is that the Palestinian security forces have nothing to drive.
Thus, the Israeli military operation "Cast lead" has proved to be unexpectedly profitable for the Palestinians. In addition to the billions gathered for the restoration of the Gaza Strip by the representative international forum (with special observers watching that not a dollar (or euro) is gets to the competing clans of Hamas), they will receive also armored cars.
The question is, who are they going to fight? In their comments on provision of assistance to the damaged Gaza Strip, the Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly stressed: this assistance should reach the legitimate authorities of the PA. However, whom Moscow considers to be "legitimate authority" is not yet clear, while Abu Mazen and Hamas representatives are accepted equally well in the Kremlin.
