Belarusian Embassy to Israel helped return two works of the Belarusian artist Nikolay Duchits to the Belarus Republic.
Two works by the Belarusian artist Nikolay Duchits - "Dubki" (1953) and "Etude" (1949) were officially donated to the National Arts Museum of the Republic of Belarus.
As reported at the Embassy's website, the pictures by Duchits were received from the collector B. Klionsky through the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Israel.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Belorussian foreign affairs institutions have been working for several years on detection and return of the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus, which appeared to be abroad due to the variety of historical circumstances.
