On Sunday in Moscow, unidentified attackers brutally beat a 50-year-old citizen of Israel. The victim was hospitalized in serious condition, the RIA Novosti reported on Monday with reference to a source in law enforcement authorities of the capital.
The accident occurred in the district of Tsaritsyno. The local residents called the "02" service and said that at the entrance of the house number 29 on Bakinskaya Street lies a beaten man.
"The emergency brigade that arrived on the scene found at the entrance of the house a man who was unconscious and in critical condition. The victim's head was smashed," said the source. The victim was an Israeli citizen temporarily residing in Moscow in this house.
"During the investigation, the capital operatives were able to establish that the foreigner had been attacked by two men who beat him and fled without taking anything," said the source.
Currently, the police are looking for the criminals, and a criminal case of the attack has been opened under the article 111 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of grievous harm to one's health).
RIA Novosti has not yet managed to receive official comments on this fact.
