Presentation of programs and new projects of the Jewish Foundation of Ukraine and the Jewish Forum of Ukraine

In the House of Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, new programs on Jewish education, leadership projects, memorial projects, projects on restoration of cultural monuments, religious buildings, renovation of synagogues and the preservation of Jewish cemeteries were presented to the Ukrainian and Jewish public.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Foundation of Ukraine and leader of the Forum of Jews of Ukraine Arkady Monastyrsky pointed out during the presentation that the majority of new projects are initiated by the young leaders of Jewish communities, representatives of Ukrainian Jewish associations and communities abroad, which makes them international and attractive for investments.
Particular attention at the presentation was paid to the continuation of the memorial program "Memory and Gratitude," devoted to remembrance of the Holocaust, which JFU plans to implement in partnership with the International Memorial Fund (Switzerland) by constructing 5 monuments.
Two new projects also were discussed – the information and analysis web-site "The Jewish Review" and the establishment of the Center for Planning and Fund Raising of the Jewish community of Ukraine.
The presentation was completed with a video about the Jewish Foundation of Ukraine, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of its activities.
