Richard Goldstone, the South African Judge who last week retracted the findings of his own report on the Israeli operation against Hamas in 2008-2009, is to visit Israel in July and tour the southern city of Sderot.
He reportedly accepted an invitation from Israeli Interior Minister Eli Yishai who said such a visit would show Goldstone the extent of the suffering that the Israeli public has been subjected to due to Hamas terror attacks.
Goldstone said that he would be honored to visit, noting that he loves both Israel and the Jewish people.
