                  Nazi teenagers put on probation

On March 31, the Soviet District Court of Briansk ruled four defendants guilty under Part 2 of Article 214 the Criminal Code (vandalism). The defendants had been accused of attacks on Jewish school "Or Avner" in October - November 2007, the "Sova" agency reports.
The court sentenced two teenagers to 1 year in prison, the third to 6 months imprisonment. On the basis of Article 73 of the Criminal Code (probation) the punishments are considered conditional with the probationary period of six months. Another teenager was sentenced to 100 hours of community service. The sentence has come into legal force.
The aggrieved party has retained the right to appeal to the court with a claim for the compensation of damage in the course of civil proceedings.
The criminal case was pending in the production of the Investigation Division at the Department of Internal Affairs of the Soviet District of Briansk. The names of the accused are not reported because they are juveniles. Two of the teenagers said that they were Nazi-skinheads.
