On the threshold of Pesach, in Mariupol synagogue a mini-bakery for matzot was opened, in which worked the students of the evening school "Or-Avner", kindergarten "Simkha," parents and youth of the Stars program. All bakers were dressed in starchy white caps and aprons, held rolling pins, went through orientation, and the competition for who will make the thinnest matzo began. Everyone was able to try to grind the grain into flour with a manual mill. The dryness of the material is exceptionally important for the absence of hamets.
While the matzot were baking in the oven, the children were invited to watch a film about the Exodus of Jews from Egypt. This is not the first matzo bakery in Mariupol, but nevertheless, the children took part in this festival with joy and passion. After all, what could be tastier than than real matzo, baked with your own hands?
