Peres kicks off new career as television host

President Shimon Peres, 85, is kicking off a new career - as a TV host.
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate's show will be called "A Meeting of the Minds at the President's House," his spokeswoman, Ayelet Frisch, said Tuesday.
The program will deal with important issues in Israeli society and topics "close to the president's heart," she said.
One episode, airing this week, deals with relations between Arabs and Jews in Israel. In another, Peres will speak with up-and-coming young Israelis from different fields.
She said an episode will be shown about every two months on Israel's national TV station.
