Palestinians: Man killed in Bil'in riot

A Palestinian protester was reportedly killed on Friday afternoon when he was hit by a tear gas canister during an anti-security fence riot in Bil'in.
Protest organizer Abdullah Abu Rahmeh identified the dead man as his cousin, Bassem Abu Rahmeh, 31, a resident of the West Bank town.
Dr. Wissam Badawi, an emergency room physician at Ramallah Hospital, said Abu Rahmeh was killed when he was hit in the chest by the tear gas canister.
Hundreds of Palestinians and other left-wing activists hurled rocks at security forces during anti-fence protests in both Bil'in and nearby Nil'in.
The forces responded using stun grenades and tear gas to disperse the riots.
The IDF said it was looking into reports of the incident in which Abu Rahmeh was said to have been killed.
