Mourning Meeting to be Held in Yevpatoriya in Memory of Holocaust Victims

A mourning meeting devoted to Holocaust Memorial Day is planned to be held on April 21st in Yevpatoriya. E-Krym (Jewish Crimea) agency has given this information in the Department of International Relations of the Yevpatoriya Town Council.
According to the Department's information, representatives of the town Jewish community will participate in the action. The Chief Rabbi of Progressive Judaism communities of Kiev and Ukraine Alexander Dukhovny is also expected to attend.
"At 11 a.m., participants will pay homage to Holocaust victims by a minute of silence, since exactly at this time a minutes' silence will be also held in Israel," said the Department officials.
The meeting will take place at the monument to Holocaust victims, erected at the scene of the mass shooting of Jews of Yevpatoriya during the years of the Second World War.
