On April 23 - May 3, the Fifth Anniversary Festival of Jewish music "YiddishFest 2009" will be held in Moscow. Moscow Festival is aimed at the revival and popularization of Jewish musical culture; it is the hope and support for developing tolerance, the atmosphere of mutual understanding and true humanism in the modern society.
As part of the festival "IdishFest 2009", concerts will be organized with participation of the best ensembles of Jewish music in Russia, the CIS and the stars of klezmer art from all over the world (over 70 participants).
The concerts of "IdishFest 2009" will take place on April 23 (MEOTS), April 30 (DOM Cultural center) and May 2 (the final gala concert of the Festival "All Jewish stars!" in Moscow International House of Music).
