Life and Death in the Holocaust Era: Book of Prisoner Memories Published

On April 22, in the Cultural Centre at the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine, a presentation of the three-volume edition of memories of former ghetto and Nazi concentration camps prisoners on the Nazi occupied territory of Ukraine during the Great Patriotic War. The book is called "Life and Death in the Holocaust era: testimonies and documents".
These human documents are a part of the people's memory, a triumph of remembrance over oblivion, they are of a great educational and humanistic importance. The three-volume publication of unique materials was prepared by a former prisoner of Shargorod ghetto, chairman of the Association of Ukrainian Jews - former prisoners of ghettos and Nazi concentration camps, the Head of scientific and educational "Holocaust Remembrance" Centre, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine Dr. Boris Zabarko.
