Lauder Business School in Vienna: Europe’s unique Jewish University campus
19.01.2012, Education The prestigious Lauder Business School (LBS) in Vienna, Europe's Unique Jewish university, opened registration for the next academic year which will start in October 2012.
LBS was founded in 2003 by Ronald S.Lauder, an internationally renowned entrepreneur, former US ambassador to Austria and current World Jewish Congress President, as a university of applied sciences with the aim of offering young people from East and West common educational possibilities in Central Europe.
The Austrian capital was chosen as a crossroad and a bridge between western and eastern traditions.
The Lauder Business School offers an intercultural teaching in English focused on global economy, international business and management, and uses the best possible blend of American and European educational methods.
The comprehensive leadership program of 4 or 6 semesters culminate in internationally accepted Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Arts (M.A.).
In addition, students at the Lauder Business School have the opportunity to gain a deep knowledge of Judaism along with courses in liberal arts. The school shows support to students from a Jewish background, taking into consideration religious holidays, tradition and kosher dietary requirements.
"The world’s economies have become interdependent and in order for them to function well, it will require skilled and talented young professionals who will become tomorrow’s business leaders," said Ronald Lauder.
