Baku Jews Grieve over Innocent Victims

Yesterday a tragedy happened in Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (ASOA) in Baku. As a result of a bloody rampage, done by 29-year-old murderer in the second ASOA building, 13 students and professors were killed, and another 13 were injured with varying degrees of severity.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has taken the case investigation under his personal control.
"The members of our association were in the adjacent building, and it is a miracle that none of them were hit by the bullets, - said the head of the students' "Hillel" Ilana Azinbekova. - We are all shocked by this bloody tragedy, and we share with our Azerbaijani brothers their grief for innocent victims."
Yesterday representatives of the "Or Avner Chabad" educational complex in Baku expressed their condolences for the victims of the tragedy in ASOA.
"In the lobby of our school, we set up a special stand, where our students have laid scarlet flowers and lit memorial candles", - said the PR director of "Or Avner Chabad" educational complex, director of "Or Avner Chabad" school Samir Khanlarov.
"A terrible tragedy happened in the Azerbaijan Oil Academy where many our graduates study. The young people were murdered that should have had their entire life ahead. We grieve over the innocent victims and express our sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the dead", - stressed the Director General of "Or Avner Chabad" educational complex Rabbi Matityagu Louis in his interview to the Jewish News agency.
Yesterday, in the synagogues of Mountain, Ashkenazi and Georgian Jews of Baku, the prayers were read for the repose of the souls of innocent victims of the tragedy in ASOA.
