IDF kills two terrorists approaching Gaza Strip border

Two terrorists were killed in a fire-exchange with IDF soldiers on Friday morning.Reconnaissance Battalion identified the suspicious men approaching the Kerem Shalom border crossing at the southern Gaza Strip, and led by a company commander, crossed into the Strip and attacked the terrorists.
Weapons and explosive devices were discovered on the bodies of the dead terrorists.
None of the soldiers were wounded in the incident.
Army sources assess that the terrorists had intended on placing explosives on the border fence in order to activate them near IDF patrols.
It was not immediately clear to which Palestinian militant group the fighters belonged. Most violent incidents in recent months have been claimed by small militant factions and not by Hamas, which might be trying to avoid provoking further Israeli retaliation.
Friday's gunfight took place near one of the border crossings where Israel allows a trickle of humanitarian aid into the territory. Gaza has been blockaded by Israel and Egypt since Hamas seized power there nearly two years ago.
