Head of Nativ Consulate Answers Moldovan Questions "Directly"
26.05.2009
The head of the "Nativ" permanent consulate of the Israeli government in Moldova Stas Nezhynsky has held a "direct line" with the Jewish community members.
The "Direct Line" has been remarkably impetuous and eventful. Even after the hour and a half designated for this event, people continued to call.
A year ago, a similar event took place at the editorial office of "The Jewish town" weekly, with the predecessor of Stas Nezhynsky. But the number of questions had not reduced over time. Most questions were connected with repatriation, visiting trips, and work.
People also asked about tours to Israel, and about the possibility of health examination and treatment there. The community was also interested in the time of cancellation of the visa regime, and many people expressed worries about the proper paper work - which documents are sufficient to confirm the right to repatriation?
A separate "block of questions" was connected with active duty in the IDF, where young people would like to serve.
There were calls not only from Chisinau, but also from Falesti and Kagul, other towns and cities of the country. However, it seems that nobody has remained discontented: Stas Nezhynsky tried and gave comprehensive answers.
