Israeli police questioned Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman for the fifth time since he took office.
The five-hour interrogation Wednesday introduced the claim that Lieberman has interfered in the ongoing investigation.
Police reportedly have documents that show Lieberman laundered millions of shekels through a consulting firm run by his daughter. He also is suspected of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes between 2001 and 2004, during his term as national infrastructures and transportation minister.
Police officials told Israeli media Wednesday evening that Lieberman could be charged in the next few weeks with crimes including fraud, bribery, breach of public trust and fraudulent receipt of goods.
