                  Monument to victims of Nazi repressions opened in Zhytomyr region

                  In Zhytomir region, at the site of fascist mass shootings of persons of Jewish nationality and prisoners of war, a monument to victims of Nazi repressions was opened.
                  According to the press service of Zhytomyr regional state administration, the monument was opened in the village of Kamenny Brod, Baranovskyi district, Zhytomir region.
                  The opening ceremony of the monument was attended by the clergy, district administration, and general public. In order to honour the victims of mass shootings of people of Jewish nationality and prisoners of war, the representatives of Jewish communities of the cities Zhytomir and Berdichev, Lviv and Khmelnitsky regions, as well as guests from Russia - from Saratov and Moscow, came to Kamenny Brod.
                  The monument was constructed on charitable funds.
                  As it was reported, on 8 May, the monuments were opened to those who died during the Great Patriotic War in two villages in Zhytomyr region.
