Meeting the Righteous Gentiles in Minsk

In the historic workshop of Minsk, a meeting with the Righteous Gentiles of Belarus took place.
Due to the success of the First International Scientific and Practical Conference "Righteous People of the World in Belarus," which took place in late March 2009, the organizers and the Righteous themselves have a lot of plans and ideas, one of which is to collect all the material on the Righteous Gentiles and people, rescued by them.
The meeting, attended by about a dozen guests, including foreign ones, was organized exactly with the purpose to collect new material. Each of the guests told interesting war stories.
For example, a young volunteer from Germany told the history of his grandmother and grandfather, who saved Jews.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed upon a plan for further meetings of the Righteous and the visitors of the historic workshop.
According to plan, the next meeting will be on June 22 this year at Matvey Basov's "Knock at the Door" exhibition, devoted to the Minsk ghetto.
