Resident of Turkey Sentenced for Insulting Jews and Armenians

A court in Turkey sentenced to five months in prison a resident of the city of Eskishehir, who hanged a plate "Jews and Armenians, no admittance!" on the door of his company office. Niyazi Kapa said he did so in protest against Israeli troops operation in the Gaza Strip earlier this year.
The court found the defendant guilty of "insulting a part of society." The local human rights organization made a declaration against Kapa.
