Settlers attack Palestinians after West Bank outpost evacuation protest

A group of settlers attacked 15 Palestinian laborers near the West Bank settlement of Kedumim early Monday after protesting against plans to evacuate illegal outposts.
Four Palestinians were wounded, one seriously, during the incident; an Israeli Arab driver was also lightly hurt. None of the settlers was arrested.
Settlers and right-wing activists had earlier traveled to outposts near Kedumim, fearing that security forces were planning to evacuate one of the illegal settlements overnight.
The protest came after the Civil Administration released a list of ten outposts slated to be evacuated.
The settlers proceeded to burn tires, block roads and hurl rocks at Palestinian cars; they later clashed with Israeli security forces who arrived at the scene.
Following the protests, a group of masked settler youths attacked the Palestinians, Army Radio reported.
