West Bank settlers began setting up two new outposts amid accusations of violence.
Members of the Land of Israel Faithful movement on Wednesday began building two new outposts and reconstructing two others, Maoz Esther and Ramat Migron, that were evacuated.
Meanwhile, Israeli police have accused settlers of setting fire to a Palestinian field Wednesday following the outpost evacuations. Palestinian firefighters were able to stop the blaze. Palestinians reportedly retaliated by throwing stones at settlers at Havat Gilad, near Kedumim.
Settlers also reportedly blocked a road near the West Bank settlement of Shavei Shomron, near Nablus, for 40 minutes.
Meanwhile, Ynet reported that rabbis, Yesha settler council members and government ministers have joined forces to condemn recent settler violence. In the past, settler leaders have refrained from publicly condemning such actions.
