Palestinians confirm first swine flu case

A Palestinian girl, 4, has become the first confirmed case of swine flu in the West Bank and Gaza.
The girl, a resident of Bethlehem, recently returned from a visit to the United States, Reuters reported.
Israel's Health Ministry announced Wednesday that the number of confirmed cases in Israel has risen to 68. Three of the new cases recently arrived in Israel from the United States on a Birthright Israel trip, Ynet reported.
The World Health Organization is on the verge of declaring the swine flu outbreak a pandemic.
