                  Israeli Ministers in St. Petersburg Synagogue

                  A meeting of the Israeli Minister of Industry, Trade and Labour Binyamin Ben-Eliezer and the Minister of Agriculture Shalom Simhon with the leaders of the Jewish community and the parish took place in the Grand Choral Synagogue of St. Petersburg.
                  Ambassador of the State of Israel in the Russian Federation Anna Azari, Consul of Israel in St. Petersburg Boleslav Yatvetsky, Chief Rabbi of St. Petersburg M.-M. Pevzner, Head of the St. Petersburg Jewish religious community Mark Grubarg, representatives of Joint Jewish agency, members of the synagogue's guardian council, businessmen and cultural workers also participated in the meeting.
                  The Ministers spoke about the economic situation in Israel.
                  "Israel is not experiencing easy times, especially during the crisis. Nevertheless, we manage to support the agriculture at a high level: Israel is not only providing itself with agricultural goods but is also working for export," Shalom Simhon said in particular.
