Veterans of war have met pupils of the Jewish school of Dnepropetrovsk.

                  28.10.2002

Pupils of the Jewish school named after Levi-Itskhak Shneerson greeted with flowers those who 59 years ago released Dnepropetrovsk from fascist aggressors. There were only 24 of them - former tankmen, artillerymen and mortar men.
Now they are civilian elderly people.
Veterans have told to children about terrible days when the future of Jewish people was being solved in severe fights with the enemy. The lesson of memory and courage lasted for 45 minutes. And after that they laid flowers on the monument of Glory.
During reception at the Dnepropetrovsk Jewish community the Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetskiy and the representative of "Bejt Baruch" Fund Mrs. Bogolyubova expressed warm greetings to heroes of war. The prayer for the dead has been made in honor of victims on war that stayed on fields of battles forever.
