Unknown persons have fired the new building of the Jewish Cultural Welfare Fund "Hased Atikwa".

In Novosibirsk the new building of the Jewish Cultural Welfare Fund "Hased Atikwa" located at Siberian street, 41 was fired at night.
According to some information, there were four criminals and one of them was a girl. At night they came to "Atikwa" and have made four shots from a five-shot gun at windows and metal doors. Some bullets have got inside the premise. At this time a watchman was in the building. He said, criminals tried to shoot him. Law enforcement bodies regard this crime as usual hooliganism, but it has caused the real alarm among Jews of the city.
The Head of "Atikwa" Alla Olhova has expressed bewilderment concerning the accident, but advised that numerous threats repeatedly reached the employees of the fund. Alla Olhova told her fund is engaged exclusively in charity - here they help to old and deprived Jews with medical service, clothes and even food. Nevertheless, the Head of "Atikwa" has some versions of the accident: it is supposed, that someone is interested in the premise which is the annex to the residential building where the fund was going to move.
